Free admission to spectators. Registration required to race.
Be a kid again at Boulder Dash and relive those memories of your childhood, but tack on head to head competition, plenty of crashes, and screaming spectators! It's free to come and spectate! We'll have food trucks, water balloons to toss at racers and plenty of delicious Welltown Brewing beers on tap! If you want to race, see info below.
Preregistration is required and there's only a limited number of slots!
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN REGISTRATION
>1 Team participation in Double Elimination bracket race (guarantees 2 races per team)
> Racer Happy Hour (Rule Debrief and Test ride, Friday June 25th) - The evening before the race, all team members are encouraged to attend for pre-registration and rule review for the event. The course will be set, so each team will have an opportunity to ride down the course once (without obstacles) to get a feel for the trike and course. This is the only opportunity for test rides, no test rides on race day.
At the Happy hour, dinner and 1 Welltown beer per racer (of drinking age) is included.
> 3 Boulder Dash racer shirts - 1 per team member. Sizes required to register. Shirts will be unisex shirt sizing. No exchanges/adjustments to shirt sizes after April 30th.
> 1 Free Parking Pass to Racer pit area - tailgating encouraged!
TEAMS
Teams of 3 and all members must be present for each race and must sign a liability waiver PRIOR to participating saying its not our bad if you get hurt. Boulder Dash participants must be 18 years of age or older.
(2) Two Pushers at the top of the Boulder Bridge - Your job is to give your team a big head start
(1) One Driver - Your job is get across that finish line in front of Welltown Brewing.
These positions can be rotated within a team for each race as you see fit.
EQUIPMENT
In order to allow everyone to participate, your trike will be provided for you. That's right, you don't need to supply your own tricycle and as a matter of fact, you can't bring your own. HOWEVER, YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN FULL FACE D.O.T. approved helmet. YOU WILL NOT be allowed to race without this. Full face means it looks like the helmet in our logo. See below for further requirements.
RACING
Each race will consist of two teams starting from the top of the hill. On go, the two pushers will have 10 feet to push their trike driver down the course. After 10 feet, the pushers let the driver go and that driver needs to cross the finish line first to make it to the next round. This is DOUBLE elimination bracket.
There is no pushing or shoving of the other team during the race. Drivers that do so will be disqualified.
CHAMPIONSHIP
The champion will be determined through a bracket system and winners of each race will advance as the course progressively becomes more difficult.
ATTIRE ***COSTUMES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED****
It is your job to keep your driver safe. Make sure you take the proper precautions. When you are flying down the asphalt is the wrong time to think about what you should wear.

Waiver, Assumption of Risk, Covenant Not to Sue, and Release
We’re sorry, but this can be dangerous, so in consideration of participating in the event Boulder Dash presented by Welltown Brewing, LLC, (also referred to as “Welltown”) and using the equipment provided by Welltown Brewing, LLC, we require you to review and sign this document. The purpose of this document is to ensure that Welltown and related people or entities do not get sued or have to pay for damages you may sustain, even if their negligence caused your damages. THIS IS A LEGAL AND BINDING AGREEMENT WHICH WILL PERMANENTLY LIMIT YOUR ABILITY TO RECOVER FROM WELLTOWN AND ITS EMPLOYEES, EVENT VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF, MEMBERS AND MANAGERS, AND OTHERS, FOR INJURIES OR LOSSES YOU MAY SUSTAIN AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN BOULDER DASH, A WELLTOWN ACTIVITY. READ ALL PAGES CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. If you do not wish to execute this document or no longer wish to participate after being made aware of the dangers, please speak with a Boulder Dash representative and request that your participation be canceled.
I, the undersigned, understand that participation in “Boulder Dash” is dangerous.
A. Risk of Personal Injury. I understand that the risks of participating in the event are numerous and include, but are not limited to, the following: DEATH, PARALYSIS, HEAD INJURIES, BROKEN BONES, CUTS, SCRAPES, DAMAGE TO SEGWAYS, GEAR AND CLOTHING, AND DAMAGE TO AND/OR INJURY TO OTHERS; falling, loss of control; problems loading, unloading or riding tricycle; encountering trees, limbs, brush, rocks, structures, ropes, barriers, and/ or other man made or naturally occurring obstacles; encountering unpredictable terrain such as varying steepness, mud, holes, cliffs, gravel, narrow trails, and/or lack of trails; negligence of other riders, persons, or vehicles; and/or negligent actions of Welltown Brewing, LLC, its employees, its tour guides, event volunteers and staff, members and managers, and any owners of property ridden on, their officers, employees, or agents (here in collectively referred to as "Welltown Brewing”). I understand that risks from riding may include encountering bicycles, other tricycles, motor vehicles, motorcycles and other motorized vehicles that may pose a hazard to me while participating in the event in an urban environment. I understand that the risk of injury can increase due to inclement weather such as, but not limited to, snow, rain, hail, heat, and high winds. Injury can also occur due to inclement weather such as, but not limited to, heat exhaustion from extreme heat, frostbite from cold, and other injuries from rain, hail, snow, or other weather conditions. I know that this is dangerous, and I still want to participate. Therefore, by signing below, the rider accepts the following conditions and makes the following representations:
B. Conditions and Representations.
1. I HAVE MADE NO MISREPRESENTATION TO WELLTOWN BREWING IN ANY REGARD, including, but not limited to, my height, weight, age or abilities. PREGNANT RIDERS SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE FOR SAFETY REASONS. I understand that a rider must weigh between 100 and 260 pounds and must be at least 18 years of age.
2. ALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE TRICYCLE OR OTHER EQUIPMENT (the "Equipment") have been made clear to me and I fully understand how to use the Equipment. I accept the Equipment for use as is, and accept full responsibility for the care of the Equipment while it is in my possession.

3. I HAVE A DOT FULL-FACE HELMET, OR ONE HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO ME AND I WILL WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHEN I AM ON THE EQUIPMENT. I understand that even while wearing a helmet significant head injury is still a risk.
4. THE TRICYCLE IS WORKING PROPERLY. I AM PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY ABLE TO RIDE THE TRICYCLE and I am familiar with riding and its physical and mental requirements and risks involved.
5. I WILL READ AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS AND SIGNS. I agree that Welltown Brewing, LLC may revoke my right to ride and prevent my issue of the tricycle without refund for unsafe or rude conduct and/or failure to obey instructions.
C. RELEASE OF LIABILITY (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE). I AGREE TO FULLY RELEASE AND DISCHARGE WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC AND ITS EMPLOYEES, EVENT VOLUNTEERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS AND OTHER STAFF FROM ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, OR CLAIMS, INCLUDING ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES OCCURRING FROM ANY NEGLIGENCE (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE, SOLE, CONCURRENT OR GROSS), STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER FAULT OF, TO MYSELF OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR PROPERTY, AS A RESULT TO MY PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT. I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO RELEASE WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, ITS EMPLOYEES, EVENT VOLUNTEERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS AND OTHER STAFF FOR THEIR NEGLIGENCE (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE, SOLE, CONCURRENT OR GROSS) IN CAUSING IN WHOLE OR IN PART ANY INJURY TO ME.
D. EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISKS. I EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL DANGERS INCIDENTAL TO, AND RISK OF LOSS, DAMAGE, OR INJURY OCCURRING AS A RESULT OF, PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE RISK OF WELLTOWN BREWING NEGLIGENCE (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE, SOLE, CONCURRENT OR GROSS). INCLUDING DEATH, INJURY, ILLNESS OR ANY OTHER LOSS THAT OCCURS, AS WELL AS LOSS FROM THEFT OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL BELONGINGS;
E. PROMISE NOT TO SUE AND HOLD HARMLESS. I AGREE TO FOREVER RELEASE AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Welltown Brewing, LLC, as well as its successors, owners, officers, managers, agents, employees, landlord, contractors, or volunteers from any liability, cause of action, claim, or demand, including those listed elsewhere in this agreement, arising out of my participation or presence before, during or after participation. I will not make a claim or file a lawsuit; If I do file a lawsuit, I agree to pay any attorney fees, costs or judgments incurred by WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, its employees, tour guides, event volunteers and staff, members and managers, and others, even if WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, its employees, event volunteers, staff, members and managers, and others are found negligent. I further agree to indemnify WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC and its employees, event volunteers, staff, members and managers, and others from any liability and hold them harmless for any damages, injuries, judgments, or lawsuits, including any attorney's fees and costs incurred by WELLTOWN BREWING, its employees, event volunteers, staff, members and managers, and others as a result of my participation in tricycles use, or my participation in a WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC EVENTS or any lawsuits resulting from such participation. I AGREE MY OBLIGATION TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, ITS EMPLOYEES, EVENT VOLUNTEERS, STAFF, MEMBERS AND MANAGERS, TOUR GUIDES AND OTHERS HARMLESS APPLIES EVEN IF WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, ITS EMPLOYEES, EVENT VOLUNTEERS, STAFF, MEMBERS AND MANAGERS, TOUR GUIDES OR OTHERS ARE NEGLIGENT (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE, SOLE, CONCURRENT OR GROSS). I understand this is a contract, which limits my legal right, and it is binding upon me, my heirs, and legal representative. If portions of this agreement are invalid, it is agreed the remaining portion will remain intact and enforceable. By signing the Release of Liability, the undersigned acknowledges he/she fully read and understands the above and foregoing.

F. I grant WELLTOWN BREWING, LLC, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and/or videos of me while engaged in the use of tricycles and further grant the publication of same on companies website or social media for the purpose of publicity, illustration, or advertising and expect no compensation.
G. This agreement is not intended to excuse fraud or willful conduct.
All conditions listed above in paragraphs D – F also apply to the City of Tulsa, its employees or representatives and its employees or representatives. This document is made on behalf of and shall be binding on myself as well as my spouse, heirs, successors or other possible beneficiaries or representatives and will be binding even if the injury or loss is caused by the negligence or other fault of Welltown Brewing, LLC, or other party intended to be protected by this document; and I represent that I have adequate health insurance and financial resources to cover any medical bills or other losses I may sustain. I acknowledge that this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as possible under the laws of the State of Oklahoma, which shall be the governing law with exclusive jurisdiction in the state courts of Tulsa County, Oklahoma. If any portion of it is held invalid, the balance shall continue in full legal force and effect. I understand that I can choose not to participate in a dangerous activity, but I have decided to freely and voluntarily give up substantial rights by executing this document and wish to participate.
I have reviewed all pages of this document, am over the age of majority (18), and am legally competent to execute this document.
