TEAM STRUCTURE
Team Michigan Roller Derby is a competitive team focused on skill, performance, and team cohesion. The team consists of two key groups:
✋️“Top 30” Competitive Roster Pool: The top 30 skaters, selected for their strength and competitiveness, will be the primary selection pool for all official game rosters. They will be the first picks for bouts and tournaments.
✋️“Select Team” (Practice Squad): An additional 10-15 skaters will be invited to train with the team. While they do not have guaranteed game spots, they will participate in practices to develop skills. In rare cases, Select Team members may be invited to play in games or scrimmages as needed.
This structure ensures a competitive team while fostering the development of emerging talent.
