The Team Jared “Bleed & Speed” blood drive and car show is a memorial event in honor of Jared Baker, who died October 3, 2023 from complications related to cancer treatments. This event was created to share Jared’s love of sports cars and to drive blood donations in appreciation of the many blood transfusions Jared received. Friends, family, and community members are invited to join this free event to enjoy the beauty of amazing cars and donate blood for those in need. The Red Cross Blood Bus will be in the church parking lot along with a few of the supercars that Jared loved, like Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, and McLarens. There will also be a taco truck and $10 gift cards for those who donate blood.
We encourage you to click “Interested” or “Going” on this Facebook event page so we can anticipate the appropriate number of attendees.

Or go to RedCrossBlood.org and search with code TeamJared. This takes you to the Red Cross page for our drive, which they have named “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Park Stake” because of the address.
Walk-ins are welcome, but registering beforehand is best to ensure you get your desired time and emailed gift card.
Please remember to bring an ID, and prepare beforehand by eating and hydrating.
