About this Event
Join this workshop on Team Development by Madis Talmar!
In this session we learn to think about organizations as systems that can be designed and calibrated as part of what an effective manager does. We first cover the very basics of organizational configuration, seeing the logical linkages of strategy, structure and systems. We then learn about how to think about causality in organizational systems and why organizational interventions are not quite the same as implementing change to a machine.
We ultimately conceptualize Student Teams as so-called learning organizations (as per Peter Senge) and consider together how to best apply that perspective onto your own teams. This perspective is particularly useful for student teams since it helps the organization consider what are the necessary conditions to keep its members in the mode of learning and for the organization to continuously transform itself. The session is a combination of theory and application exercises.
It will be held in on Friday 22nd of Novermber from 10:30 - 12:30 in Audi 12
