About this Event
Looking for a unique and engaging team-building experience? Gather your coworkers, employees, or a group of friends for a hands-on creative challenge in our metal shop! Working in teams, you’ll design and construct metal sculptures—turning 2D sketches into 3D works of art. Teams will be given design parameters -- may the best team sculpture win! Whether creating abstract designs, animals, or iconic shapes, this workshop is a perfect blend of creativity, collaboration, and skill-building.
No prior metalworking experience is required—our expert instructors will guide you through the process, ensuring a safe and rewarding experience for all. Plus, you can take your team sculptures back to the office as a reminder of your teamwork!
What You’ll Learn:
🔹 Transforming a drawing into a metal sculpture
🔹 Cutting and shaping metal rod and sheet
🔹 Forming curves and assembling your design
🔹 Welding with a MIG welder
🔹 Grinding and finishing techniques
