Teal For Two 5K – Running for Ovarian Cancer Awareness During Pregnancy
When I, Anna Slattery, went in to confirm the joy of her pregnancy, she also received news no woman ever expects. Doctors discovered an ovarian cancerous tumor.
In true Anna fashion, she chose not to sit back, but to stand up and fight not only for herself and her baby, but for every woman facing the same battle. Because Tennessee doesn’t have a nonprofit dedicated to this cause, Anna is starting right here, right now, with the Teal For Two 5K Fundraiser.
Join us at Sam Houston Elementary School as we walk, jog, and run for hope, awareness, and support. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply want to show up for Anna and women like her, this event is for you.
Bring your kids, bring your friends, bring your heart. Together, we’ll turn every step into strength, awareness, and love.

Party WOW Parties - They’ll be bringing the fun with facepainting and balloon twisting for kids (and kids at heart). Whether you want to sparkle with a butterfly, cheer on the runners with a superhero mask, or take home a balloon creation that will make you smile, Party Wow Parties will add color and joy to the day.
Smiley Swirl - will be onsite dishing up joy and smiles and YES ice-cream too! They will be donating 10% of their proceeds back to the fundraiser!!
