The MAC and Spokane Public Library are jointly offering a teacher workshop to bring the 50th Anniversary of Expo ’74 to classrooms around our region. Join archivists from the MAC’s Joel E. Ferris Research Archives and the Spokane Public Library’s Inland Northwest Special Collections, who will share archival materials from this moment in Spokane’s history. Teachers will have an opportunity to collaborate, as we explore how to teach using primary sources and archival materials.
Cost for the workshop: FREE
Fee for clock-hours processing (optional): $10
Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.
To receive clock hours for this workshop, you must register with payment for the clock-hours processing fee.
The MAC is approved by the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) to provide clock hours for the 2023-24 approval period, and this course is eligible for up to 3 clock hours.
