TEACHER'S DESERVE TO BE TREATED TO!!
As a former high school baking & pastry arts teacher and current high school volleyball coach, Chef Tai Heath knows all to well how physically, mentally, and financially intense the return to school can be.
So, this back-to-school season, while many focus on backpack drives for the kids, Chef Tai and the team at The Baker's Lab at 5-12 Dessert are turning the spotlight on the heroes behind the scenes—our educators!
On Aug 23rd we’re hosting a...A TEACHER'S BACK TO SCHOOL BRUNCH & CAKE DECORATING EXPERIENCE!
This event, exclusively for (8) Washington DC area educators, is a one-of-a-kind luxury dessert experience which we will provide a creative and calming space for these educators to relax, connect, and indulge in something just for them.
What’s Included in the experience:
- Cake Decorating
- All decorating supplies and equipment
- Aprons for teachers to wear during class
- Catered bites, sparkly beverages, and desserts by 5-12 Dessert
- Teacher's swag bag, giveaways and more!

While we’re only treating (8) amazing educators to a luxury dessert experience, we know there are many, many more heading into the school year in need of support. So in the weeks leading up to the event, we’ll also be collecting additional supplies to help stock the classrooms of local teachers who often times pay for supplies themeselves. You can drop off teaching supplies and self-essential at our Baker's Lab located at the address above or purchase items from our AMAZON TEACHER SUPPLIES AND SELF-CARE ESSENTIALS REGISTRY!
