Teacher Professional Development: Turfgrass Management

This 1-day Professional Development Workshop will include general presentations about Turfgrass Management, describe how to use the curriculum, and demonstrate hands-on activities you can implement in your classroom. After lunch, we will visit Corpus Christi Country Club to get an overview of the daily activities and equipment required to manage a golf course. All attendees will receive lunch the day of the event, a general stipend for your time and to offset travel costs, and access to full curriculum to teach the 1/2 credit course. Attendees will also have the opportunity to stay the following day (Tuesday, December 17) and attend the Texas Turfgrass Association Tradeshow and educational seminars. This would be an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with turfgrass professionals from across the state of Texas.
