This is the registration page for the Teacher Induction Program Professional Learning Session: Effective Environment.
This professional learning session will be offered on the following dates:
- Relationships, Routines and Procedures: October 16, 2025 (4:30pm - 7:30pm)
- Engagement: October 23, 2025 (4:30pm - 7:30pm)
- Why does Student Behavior Occur?: January 15, 2026 (4:30pm - 7:30pm)
Relationships, Routines and Procedures (October 16, 2025):
Candidates will collaborate to focus on developing or refining classroom management strategies including building relationships and effective routines and procedures. In addition, candidates will connect their experience to CSTP 2, promoting equity and inclusivity in the classroom.
Engagement (October 23, 2025):
Candidates will collaborate to focus on developing or refining classroom practices that promote engagement and positive interactions. In addition, candidates will connect their experience to CSTP 2, by exploring classroom practices that facilitate an inclusive and equitable environment that respects student voice and experience.
Why does Student Behavior Occur?:
Candidates will collaborate to explore the root causes of student behavior. Learning will focus on positive behavior supports and student centered instructional practices, CSTP 2.
The professional learning sessions will be In person and will be conducted at the SMCOE Office located at 101 Twin Dolphin Drive, Redwood City, CA 94065.
