To show our deep appreciation for the many permaculture teachers, site hosts and guest speakers who have made our Permaculture Design Course unique over the last 15 years, CPI is inviting our community to gather and celebrate around the fire at Homeadow Song Farm, 5038 Gray Rd., Cincinnati, on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Our gracious host Vickie Mansoor will fire up her one of a kind Dragon oven for a build-your-own pizza party and bonfire starting at 6 PM. We will have a bonfire, and the dragon oven will be all fired up eager to serve you dinner. We will have sourdough pizza crust and some home-grown red sauce. We will also provide organic cheese and vegan and gluten-free options. Please bring your favorite toppings and/or side dish from your harvest or local farmers market to share. Bring anything else you want to contribute to the party: a piece of firewood, drink, song, drum, poem or story! The oven stays hot for a long time, so you are welcome bring a loaf of bread or anything else to bake in the oven to take home with you. Kids & families welcome!
Homeadow Song Farm was offered as a venue for this event at no charge. As a Fair Share exchange for hosting, CPI is also arranging a work & learn Implementation Event at the Farm, to gift the land with our attentive care before we gather for feast & fire. From 3:00-5:30 PM on Saturday, we will be performing Woodland Edge Maintenance at the farm. There is no cost to attend either event, and both are open to CPI students, graduates and members.
