Teach Lake County is a convenient, caring, and customized teacher credentialing program that prepares teachers and students for success in rural, high-poverty schools.
Cohort 9 is open to any candidate interested in teaching in rural California public schools. Applicants may reside anywhere in California, as all coursework is offered online.
These information sessions will provide details on teacher intern programs for people interested in earning their teaching credential in multiple subjects or mild/moderate special education while working as full-time teachers.
Information Sessions will be presented by Jamie Buckner-Bridges, Teach Lake County Director and/or Tyler Gentry, Coordinator-Teacher Development for the Lake County Office of Education.
The first step in applying for the program is to attend one of the Informational Meetings online via Zoom. You must have a bachelors degree to apply.

The final deadline to apply, after attending an information session, is October 1st. Classes start in November 2025!
