About this Event
Green lessons, local spaces: Accessible eco-education
Teachers in Grades 3-7 are invited to learn easy, replicable activities in the classroom and on the school grounds that allow children anywhere to learn about the natural environment. This event will be hosted at a Vancouver elementary school and we will update the location as soon as possible.
Taught by leaders in environmental education with 20+ years experience:
- Stream of Dreams Murals Society
- Pacific Streamkeepers Federation
- Wildcoast Ecological Society
Discover simple activities that align with the BC curriculum and engage students on subjects of freshwater habitats, native plants, pollinators, and environmental stewardship.
Teachers will receive activity demonstrations and given lesson plans as well as access to digital copies and other resources.
