Join us this Spring Break for a kid friendly quilting workshop!Workshop will use a precut Jelly Roll for easy, kid tested, assembly! Pattern is included in the cost of the workshop.
This hands-on quilting workshop is designed to introduce kids ages 8-18 to the fundamentals of quilting in a structured, age-appropriate, and engaging environment. Participants will learn basic sewing concepts, fabric selection, simple cutting techniques, and how individual pieces come together to form a finished quilt block.
The workshop emphasizes creativity, patience, and problem solving while building practical skills and confidence. Students will work with precut jelly rolls & a simple Irish Chain pattern to ensure success, safety, and a positive learning experience. No prior sewing or quilting experience is required.
Red River Quilters will provide set up for the workshop, the pattern, ironing station and the teacher.
