Join us for a Tea Party Open House with Martha Washington, featuring a living historian who will teach guests about the entertaining and social graces of 18th century Virginia.This free event will take place on Sunday, August 24, from 2-4pm at the Winchester-Frederick County Visitors Center, located at 1400 S Pleasant Valley Rd.
Guests can sample some of the varieties of teas thrown into the Boston Harbor during the Boston Tea Party, and enjoy complimentary light refreshments.
Additional information about the numerous local events planned for the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution will also be available. Participants may drop in at any time, and children are welcome.
