Join us to celebrate the official reopening of the Tea Gardens Library.The Tea Gardens extension is now open and to celebrate we are hosting an official re-opening to coincide with when the library was first opened 22-years ago. There will be a coffee van with free coffee and morning tea available.
Recent upgrade and extension work included a 97m² extension to provide a meeting and events space, an amenities upgrade, an access ramp upgrade, new carpet and introducing self-serve technology.
This $600,000 project was funded by a NSW Public Libraries Infrastructure Grant and State Library of NSW Local Special Projects Funding. A small community donation was given to contribute to a new local history alcove in the library.
