Once upon a time, “tea dances” were genteel Sunday garden parties with tea and music. In the 1950s–60s, gay men gave them a twist: when alcohol was illegal for us, tea was the perfect cover for dancing, flirting, and community without the cops crashing the party. 🌈✨

Today, the tea dance is back — not just nostalgia, but a celebration of queer joy, connection, and tradition. Come sip, sway, and slay. 🕺☕🎶

Right of Refusal: The Castle - Allure of the Desert, LLC reserves the right to refuse entry or service to anyone whose presence or behavior disrupts the peace, makes others uncomfortable, or simply doesn’t align with the spirit of this place.

Alcoholic Beverages: We don’t sell or serve alcohol — you're welcome to bring your own favorite libations. Just remember: No glass in or near the pool.

Conduct: We run on kindness, consent and common sense. This is a place where freedom is celebrated — but so is respect. Consensual intimacy between adults might naturally unfold — please take it inside. Abuse of drugs or alcohol is also strictly prohibited.

Smoking & Vaping: Allowed only outdoors and not near other people.

Cell Phones & Photos: Don’t photograph other guests without their permission and double-check who’s in the background before you snap that selfie.

Lost Items: We’re not responsible for lost or stolen belongings. Keep track of your stuff.

Pool: There’s no lifeguard on duty — so use at your own risk. No glass. No running, jumping, or diving.

Age Restriction: All guests must be 21 or older.

Liability: Guests use the property and amenities at their own risk and agree to release the owner, management, and staff from any liability. The Sonoran Desert is alive — and sometimes spiky, stingy, or slithery. Be aware of your wild surroundings, watch where you step and use a flashlight after dark.

Arbitration Agreement: Any dispute arising out of or related to these policies or your time at The Castle - Allure of the Desert, LLC shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Tucson, Arizona, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Disputes must be resolved individually, not as part of a class or collective action. Each party shall bear their own costs and fees associated with arbitration. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court for eligible disputes. By staying at The Castle - Allure of the Desert, LLC or otherwise engaging with services provided, you agree to this Arbitration Agreement and these House Rules.
