Just imagine: it’s the 1920s and you work the library. The weather is getting colder and the days are getting shorter. As the sun starts to set, the mid-afternoon slump hits you. But there’s hope! In these cooler months, the library starts a staff-only tea time. 3:30 to 4:30 every afternoon, just for you to recharge, warm up, and get through the rest of the day. It’s true! SLPL used to host an afternoon tea for staff in the 1920s. This time around, you don’t have to work at the library to enjoy an afternoon warm-up and light conversation in a cozy atmosphere. We hope you’ll drop by.
