Join us for an evening of Christmas crafts to raise money for Refugee Women Connect! We've teamed up with Leaf to host our Tea and Tinsel event on the 9th December from 6-8pm! 🎄 We'll begin the evening with a cup of tea (3 choices) and a short talk by Leaf's Tea Tony, on the role of tea in community-building and sharing. Afterward, unleash your creativity as you decorate your own Christmas baubles, perfect for adding a personal touch to your holiday décor.
Tickets are £15, this will include a cup of tea, a short talk from Tea Tony, a ceramic bauble, a plastic bauble and the materials to paint and embellish your decorations. We'll also have homemade cake that will be available to enjoy with your tea. 🍰

Refugee Women Connect (RWC) is a Liverpool-based women-only charity set up to support women asylum-seekers, refugees and survivors of trafficking. We work together to build a safe life in the UK for all women in the asylum seeker and refugee community.
Refugee women have to overcome many barriers to accessing services and support and even when asylum-seeking women have been able to get support they face being moved on at short notice to another area where they have no support networks. The women engage with RWC at an important turning point in their lives where they have left an abusive or conflict situation and are trying to deal with the huge change to their lives that this brings about at the same time they are trying to navigate the complex asylum process.
Especially at this time in the UK, refugee women are in urgent need of support and a sense of safety and community.
