Join us for a vibrant, colourful and invigorating display of Pasifika fashion. Directed by renowned artist Vivian Hosking-Aue, the fashion show TE PŌ is infused with mesmerising dance by Pacific contemporary dance group AUĒ.As part of the 2021 Pacific Dance Festival, the show is a celebration of Pacific people of all sizes and genders, through Pacific dance and couture. TE PŌ translates to ‘the night’ in the Cook Islands Māori language. This collection has been created for when the sun is low lying in the sky, showcasing the limitless opulence and appeal of evening wear.
Artistic Director of AUĒ Dance Company, Cook Islander Vivian Hosking-Aue has a rich background in dance and choreography, having taught as well as performed both in Aotearoa and internationally. Vivian launched his own fasion brand AUĒ LINE in November 2018.
