Te Awa Kura - Barnett Park Community Planting Event

Trees For Canterbury in conjunction with the Christchurch City Council’s Port Hills Ranger Service would like to invite you to take part in a public tree planting that will give you the opportunity to help bring nature back to the city.
The event is scheduled between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday 24th May, and will help with the regeneration and ecological improvement of Te Awa Kura - Barnett Park in Redcliffs.
Meeting place: The end of Bayview Road, which runs off the Main Road in Moncks Bay
What to bring: planting spade, gloves, sturdy footwear, warm clothing, rain gear if needed as the event will go ahead in all weather
