Join Pāmu on a tour across three of our Te Anau deer farms: Haycocks, Mararoa, and Lynmore. This open day offers a unique opportunity to see how we integrate deer farming systems with sustainable farming practices, showcasing the commitment of Pāmu to farming excellence in the region.
During the tour, you will learn about:
𝗛𝗮𝘆𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Extensive deer breeding and rearing, with strategies for mating, wintering, and fawning hinds in a diverse land use setting.
𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Breeding and finishing terminals, including wapiti/red terminal crosses and Firstlight venison.
𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Deer finishing systems and forage at Telstar, in the wider Lynmore operation.
