Achieving the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires implementation at every level of society, from individuals and institutions to communities, regional governments, national level programs and intergovernmental exchange. To drive real change via the goals, integration at the local and sub-national levels is crucial. The University of Minnesota has created the SDG Geospatial Impact Hub to support partners throughout the state to share data and access the most relevant information and analyses cued to their location. Minnesotans will be able to measure and visualize their progress and work in achieving relevant SDG outcomes, but they will also be able to connect, collaborate, and share approaches and ideas with a community of actors and organizations working in the same location and SDG space.
