About the Programme/Event

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) originated in ancient China and has evolved over thousands of years. With its increasing popularity and acceptance, people are using TCM as an alternative or a complementary treatment to conventional western medicine. Have you ever wondered how TCM works?
 
In this introductory talk, we will learn about:
• TCM theories like Yin-Yang
• TCM diagnosis methods like tongue and pulse reading
• TCM treatment options
 
This talk is conducted in English, but our TCM physician is happy to take questions in English or Mandarin during the Q&A segment.

About the Speaker

Physician Junie Tay 

Physician Junie Tay graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Medicine (Chinese Medicine). She is a registered TCM physician with the TCM Practitioners Board (TCMPB) and is also a member of TCMPB's Credentials Committee. Physician Tay's medical interests include acupuncture and herbal treatments for geriatric conditions, pain management, digestive disorders, and general well-being. Leveraging her knowledge in both TCM and modern biomedical sciences, she strives to provide holistic and effective care to her patients.
