Join us for the 2026 Minnesota Shorts Showcase!

Twin Cities Film Fest is proud to celebrate Minnesota filmmakers at our annual Minnesota Shorts Showcase with this terrific collection of films.

Films:

Bound in Rosemary, by Reanna Madson - Bound in Rosemary is a horror short about a young woman who, after struggling with a new dance sequence, is interrupted by a stranger at her door. As the night goes on, not only does the stranger invade her house, but her mind as well. Soon the young woman finds herself in an invisible, yet barbarous battle to maintain control over her own body and mind.

Claire Bikes, by Molly Weinstein - Two people, one homeless and one not, form a brief connection while fixing a bike together one night in the Twin Cities.

Good Grief, by Adriana Foreman - A reflexive short film employing archival footage, personal memories, and newly captured material, presented in color, to examine the transformative nature of grief, surrender, and release.

In the Dark, by Molly Ehrenberg-Peters - A struggling photographer reunites with her first love in their hometown to restage his portrait, bringing back old memories that force them to confront the traumatic end to their relationship.

Pass the Rock, by Jordan Lynn - An awkward misunderstanding leads to a unique bonding moment for a sports-obsessed father and son duo. Richard needs to have a serious conversation with his son Justin, but the conversation ends up being about something he wasn’t expecting.

Starve, by Nathaniel Urbanski - After a long shift at the restaurant, an artist returns home and pointedly avoids her studio. As she boils water for pasta, her dinner preparations begin to unravel behind her back. She is not alone, and whatever is with her has only one demand: sit before the canvas and paint.

Waiting for the Bus, by Beth Graczyk - A short film which features Michael Wolfe who identifies "as a black, queer, performance artist with autism" offering insight into his daily life and inner world through movement, text and song. Through Michael’s narration, the seemingly mundane task of waiting for the bus unfolds into a labyrinth of feelings, sensations, and physical expressions of his body.

You Can't Talk to the Dude, by Lucas Murphy - After moving into a newly renovated apartment, Rory's life falls apart when a mysterious man appears in his home out of thin air.
