*TC: Trek and Waterfall Rappelling at Ganpati Gadad on 14th August, 2022(Leaving Sat Night)*

The Climbscapers presents *Independence Day Special*, Trek and Waterfall Rappelling at Ganpati Gadad on Sunday 14th August 2022. 

*About:* 

Ganpati gadad is one of the most memorable treks we have ever been to.

Basically, Ganapati Gadad caves are not that popular or famous amongst trekkers, but they are really beautiful and clean. Ganapati Gadad caves are situated in a small village called ‘Palu, Sonawale’ in Murbad. These caves are surrounded by many historical places such as Dhakoba fort, Naneghat, etc. This is a fairly simple and easy trek, quite enjoyable and a treat for the eyes in monsoon.

*Tentative Itinerary*:

*Day 0: Saturday*

Meeting point: Swaminarayan Temple Hotel, Dadar (east) at 10:00 pm Sharp

Pickup points will be given after booking. 

*Day 1: Sunday*

3:00 am: Reach Base Village and Rest

5:00 am: Wake Up call and Breakfast. 

5:30 am: Introduction and Basic Instructions.

6:30 am: Start Hiking the towards the Rappelling Point.

8:00 am: Reach Rappelling Point. Briefing about waterfall rappelling, safety gear and equipment handling instructions.

8:30 am: Start Rappelling one by one. Those who have rappelled down will wait for the leader to come down. Meanwhile, you can take a break, have snacks and click some photos.

12:30 pm: Complete Rappelling and start descending the valley. The trail is steep and only one person can go at one time so wait for your leaders to arrive.

Do not go anywhere without the Leaders' Permission. 

2:30 pm: Reach base village, freshen up and have lunch. (Veg/Non-Veg).

4:00 pm: Start return journey.

*Things to carry*

1. Identity Card

2. Torch (mandatory)

3. 2 liters water minimum.

4. Good trekking Shoes. (Avoid Sneakers)

5. Raincoat/Poncho/Windcheater

6. Personal Medicine

7. Camera (Optional).

8. Electral/ Enerzyl.

9. Ready to eat food like Biscuits, plum cakes etc.

10. Pack your bag according to the rainy season.

Avoid carrying any expensive items, The Climbscapers is not responsible for any loss of such items.

?Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited.

?Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pants not allowed.

?Do not litter, participants are requested to carry the waste back to the city and dispose it off in dustbins.?
