About this Event
August's Meeting: For the month of August, the TC Teen Book Club is reading and discussing Witches of Ash and Ruin by E. Latimer at the Colfax location. 15 ticketed spots are available for 1:30 pm on August 15th, 2021. An additional meeting will be created if necessary.
on Tattered Cover's website.
General Description: Teens and young/ new adults -- ages 15 to 21 -- join us once a month to discuss a variety of books out of the young adult section, adult fiction sections, and adult non-fiction sections. Here we not only encourage teen readers to branch out from their required reading for school, but to serve as an introduction into the adult literary world. So many people stay stuck in the young adult section, which we still love, but we don't want people to miss out on the wonderful world of adult books just because they don't know where to start! It's also an outlet for young adults to socialize and discuss books that they may not otherwise have the opportunity to explore. We ask those who would like to join to "apply" or sign up for the newsletter -- giving their name, email, age, etc .-- then RSVP via the newsletter for the meeting itself.
