This is a two day training. Friday, March 21 6-9 PM and Saturday, March 22 9:30 AM-3:00 PM. You must attend both days to complete the training. We will provide snacks for the training and lunch on Saturday. The cost for this training is $35. All foster parents, kinship caregivers, adoptive parents, and DCFS/DFPS case workers can sign up to attend the training for free.
Texas educators will receive 9.5 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours and social workers and counselors will receive 9.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)!
Trust-based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. In this training, you will get a condensed version of our entire TBRI training.
