Officer Richard Bruess, Madison Police Department
Officer Richard Bruess is a dedicated veteran of the Madison Police Department with over 14 years of service. As a distinguished member of the SWAT team and a seasoned instructor at MPD’s pre-service academy, he teaches Firearms, Tactics, Professional Communications, and OWI enforcement. Officer Bruess is also actively involved in MPD’s Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) efforts, empowering citizens with essential safety skills for the past two years.
