The Black Circle is an events collective based in Glossop. This will be their seventh planned event and will feature Thou and Moloch.THOU are a metal band from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and this will be their Glossop debut. In Spring 2025 they released a new album, Umbilical, which was described by The Guardian as "one of the finest metal albums of the past decade" and, quite frankly, who are we to argue?
MOLOCH will be joining their long-time friends (and collaborators) in Thou on this UK tour. Hailing from Nottingham they deal in heavy, low and nasty sounds, sure to live long in your haunted memories.
The show will take place at The Globe, Glossop - the venue is upstairs so is not easily accessible to anyone with mobility issues unfortunately. It's also small in there. There is a pub downstairs that serves great vegan food and cheap beer - we strongly encourage you to come early and fill your bellies.
As always, there will be a number of tickets available for low and unwaged music lovers; we believe that finances should not be a barrier to accessing art and music. We trust that those who can afford to pay, will pay, and those who cannot afford to pay will feel comfortable enough to make use of these tickets.
We will be accepting donations for Glossopdale Foodbank on the night of the show; don't be shy to bring a can of beans or a box of teabags with you.
