We are thrilled to announce a collaboration between Topsham Brewery and North Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team (NDSART), who are fundraising together with a unique event on Saturday, 18 October 2025, held at Topsham Brewery at Exeter Quay from 2pm until closing.
NDSART are a part of Mountain Rescue England and Wales (MREW) and all team members are volunteers. The team relies on donations and grants from companies, local authorities and members of the public to remain active and to upkeep equipment and vehicles, receiving no funding from the government.
This unique event is to raise vital money for NDSART to fund their replacement Land Rover, which is estimated to cost between £55,000 and £60,000 to purchase and modify for use in Mountain Rescue purposes.
Topsham Brewery will be launching a special edition Mountain IPA for the event, aptly named 'Thirst Responder'. Of which a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the cause. Also of course Portal Pizza will be open with pizza available on the day.
Join team members from NDSART who will be attending with the oldest working Land Rover in MREW, at the grand age of 32. You will get an opportunity to see and learn what it takes to be part of Mountain Rescue and help fundraise for this vital service.
