Friday January 19th:
Dharma Talk / Yoga Sutras Lesson (6pm - 8pm)
An evening discussing the philosophy behind the Ashtanga Yoga method and the Yoga Sutras. Taylor will share his story and how the practice helped him find his true path. Learn how this transformational and healing practice can work in your life and how to overcome some of the roadblocks along the way. This is an interactive discussion you will not want to miss!
Saturday January 20th:
Sat Ritual Led Primary Series Class (9am - 12pm)
- Full led Primary Series class using the traditional Sanskrit count followed by a brief introduction to pranayama. The control of prana or energy is known as pranayama, which helps the practitioner to better understand the breath and aids in the regulation of mind and body. After class Taylor will host a discussion and Q & A!
- Asana Clinic Workshop (1pm - 3pm)
What are you working on? Working through an injury? What are you struggling with? Come prepared with your problem area and Taylor will break it down in this fun and interactive clinic. This is an open discussion about your personal practice and workshop to work on whatever you need Taylor’s help on. Usual suspects include: Marichasana D, Supta Kurmasana, Drop Backs, how to practice and find modifications when nursing specific injuries.
Sunday January 21st:
- Mysore Style Class (9am - 11am)
Join Taylor for a unique opportunity to receive individual attention and deepen your practice in a Mysore-style setting.
- Arm Balances Workshop (1pm - 3pm)

About Taylor: Taylor Hunt is a devoted practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga. He makes yearly trips to Mysore, India to further his studies at the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI) under the guidance of his teacher, R. Sharath Jois. In 2013, Taylor was granted Level 2 Authorization to teach and has had the honor of assisting at KPJAYI on several occasions. Taylor is dedicated to sharing the healing practice with others and providing a community where practitioners can find support in their practice and daily lives. Seeking to preserve the traditional method, Taylor teaches daily Mysore classes at Ashtanga Yoga Columbus and offers workshops around the world. He is also the author of A Way From Darkness and director of the Trini Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the life-changing practice of Ashtanga with those suffering from addiction. He continues to inspire others through his story of personal transformation and accessible approach to the practice.
