Designed with the community, for the community - come down and enjoy Wellington's newest skatepark. ?️Upgrades to the Skatepark are now complete and we will be celebrating with an action packed day full of free activities!
See the park in action with a skate demonstration, learn to skate or improve your skills with a free learn to ride clinic delivered by Skated, and be there for the official opening with the Wellington Mayor and local ward councillors.
Schedule
• 11am - FREE Learn to ride clinic with Skated.
Skated are a local, female run skate school who will be delivering the learn to ride clinic. Don't have any equipment? No problem! All equipment will be supplied.
• 1pm - Official opening of the park
The park will be officially opened with the mayor and local ward councillors.
• A skate demo by James Huntley, Michael Wilson, Callum Pope, and others will follow the official opening. Check them out on Instagram here:

• A FREE sausage sizzle, will be available throughout the day. This is thanks the team at Tawa New World.
