Join us for the 4th annual Tavern Night! Upon entering the fort, you will receive a pouch with a shilling and twelve pence. Use this to purchase drinks from the tavern and partake in period games of chance which include dice, cards, and board games. Offerings from the tavern are beer, ale, rum drinks and toddies. Non alcoholic drinks are also available. The fare consists of stew, cheese, bread, fruit and pies of the season.
The S & W Tavern Tankard is only available to purchase on Tavern Night. Be sure to get yours before they are gone.
Winners of games will put their names in a prize basket to be drawn at the end of the evening.
Any guest not following the "Tavern Rules" will be placed in the pillory! Coins can also be used to place other guests in the pillory or pay the fine to be released.
Come and enjoy traditional tavern music, drink, fare, fun and games. Admittance is by preregistration only. Must by 21 or older by August 23rd 2025 to attend. Call 626-2385 or visit our gift shop to register.
