Save the date everyone! On Saturday 17th Jan we're hosting a Photo Treasure Hunt based around the Tongariro South Domain. This free, family-friendly event will only run for an hour, so there will be plenty of time to get back out on the water after lunch.You think you know Taupo? Think again!

�Sat 17th Jan 10:00 - 11:00, or Sun 18th as a rain day (keep an eye on this page if the weather is iffy on Saturday)
MEETING
�Bodyfuel Cafe at 9:30 for a 10:00 start
�Not only have they kindly agreed to act as a base of operations, but if you mention the Treasure Hunt they'll even give you mates rates for a coffee and a scone ;)
LOCATION
�Tongariro South Domain (between Great Lakes Centre and the miniature train)
GEAR
�In terms of camera gear, your phone will be fine. While you're welcome to bring the fancy new mirrorless camera Santa decided was higher priority than fixing the deck, it might not help much on this occasion
�A caffeinated brain might help - most of the clues are easy, but some are a bit tricky!
�Other than that, enough survival gear for you and the family to be sun safe for 1 hr

PRIZE
�Life Pharmacy Taupo have kindly offered a 12" x 16" canvas print worth $79 as a spot prize for the event
�This will be drawn on the day and is open to all participants
�The draw will be random and won't depend on the quality of photos or number of clues you solve
