This meeting will follow up on previous Taunton Pro Democracy meetings in which we gathered with old friends and new to discuss what is drawing us to activism in this moment and what we would like to achieve together.Our goals for this meeting will be as follows:
*Reviewing information and concepts explored in our last meeting and provided to people on our mailing list (as well as people who follow our facebook page), including:
-the concepts of the "spectrum of allies” and of “pillars of support”
-resources and information about activism and mutual aid
*Continuing to explore how Taunton Pro Democracy can best support local efforts towards activism and mutual aid
We will not be planning or endorsing any violent or illegal acts, and will ask anyone who attempts to steer the conversation in that direction to excuse themselves from the conversation.
While we would like to encourage in-person participation as much as possible, a zoom link will be provided a few days before the meeting, by request. Please email us or send us a facebook message if you would like the Zoom link for this meeting when it is available.
We will be meeting in the Taunton Public Library auditorium.
