Tattooed in Blue returns to Warp and Weft for a rocking set of originals and fun covers. With special guest, Haverhill's punk/alt rock band Neck Dive! Tattooed in Blue is the newest project from Massachusetts based queer singer/songwriter Christa Renee (Christa Renee Band, Invading Kim, Signpost). Conceived out of the remnants of a broken heart, "Otherside" is the forthcoming album recorded in early 2024 at all analog studio, Mystic Valley Studios right outside of Boston.
After receiving a generous performance grant from Mass Cultural Council, Christa channeled her heartbreak and angst into 10 simple but soulful songs that hits on the despair, broken trust, disillusionment, disappointment, anger, grief, strength and hope that makes this an endearing and relatable break-up album.
