By popular demand, Tattie Day is moving to early April! Join us at the Glen Urquhart Public Hall on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, from 10am to 12:30pm. It’s the perfect time to grab your seed potatoes and, for the first time ever, a selection of veggie plugs from Abriachan Community Garden!
Don’t worry—this change won’t affect your growing success! Early varieties will still thrive, and we’d love to hear your feedback on the new date. 🥔✨

🥔 Tattie Sales – More Than Ever Before!
We’re stocking up with more seed potatoes than ever! Pick up a mix of first earlies, second earlies, and main crop varieties by donation (~20p per tuber recommended). All proceeds go to the Glen Urquhart Horticultural Society. Don’t forget your bags to help reduce waste!

🌱 NEW! Veggie Plugs from Abriachan Community Garden
Get a head start on your growing season with broccoli, cauliflower, leeks, cabbage, broad beans, sugar snap pea, spinach, lettuce and rainbow chard. Recommended donation: 50p per plug.
🌾 Seed Swap – Got extra seeds? Bring them along and trade with fellow gardeners!

🛠 Glen Urquhart Men’s Shed – Selling handmade wooden and metal garden products, from planters and plant supports to bird boxes!
☕ NEW! Seating Area & Ready-to-Eat Food – We’ll have a seating area available in the Meeting Room at Glenurquhart Hall, where you can enjoy local food and drinks. There will be tea, coffee, and juice available, alongside stallholders offering ready-to-eat options, including delicious food from Xoko, Cafe Biagiotti , Carols Bakes, and Trading for Impact Curries. Grab your breakfast or lunch and enjoy it at Tattie Day, or take it with you to go!
🥖 Mini Food Market – Stallholders will include Abriachan Nursery, Achpopuli Farm, Clachuile Croft Veg (weather dependent), Clyth Charcuterie, Cragganvallie Beef (outside in the trailer), Highland Hill Larder Venison, Loch Ness Honey, Macsoap, Ord Oak Smokehouse Salmon, Plants Etc, and Strathconan Preserves. The market will be held at Urquhart and Glenmoriston Church Hall across from Glenurquhart Public Hall.
