Tate Peterson's Strange Language with Sydney Nash on bass and Tyson Stubelek on drums.
It is said that music is a universal language. The language of music can also be strange and unfamiliar. It is these depths of music that Tate Peterson plumbs with his project, Strange Language. In an ever evolving and searching sound, with or without collaborators, Peterson uncovers fresh textures within common landscapes and familiar melodies between distant worlds. The only limit is imagination; embrace the mysterious and expect the unexpected. Though the goal is to defy labels and limits, pieces may touch on jazz, freak folk, American primitive, psychedelic, surf, punk, and musique concrète.
