3pm to 5pm - you can participate in Simon Spain's workshop: Self Assembly.
Self assembly invites participants to make a stick figure, a representation of themselves, from fallen branches by assembling limbs, torso and head together with plaster bandages and then to create a community of figures with other participants. This is a collaborative creative encounter as your own figure cannot stand alone and needs to be attached to another. Together the figures will create a community that celebrates difference.
5:30pm - The Launceston leg of the 2024 TATA Members Exhibition will be officially opened by TATA Co-President Sarah Brooke and guest speaker Dr. Abbey McDonald. Nibbles and drinks will be provided.
Both of these exciting opportunities will be held at:
Floor 1, The Workshop (previous Architecture & Design building),
University of Tasmania, Inveresk Campus, Launceston.
