About this Event
In celebration of the VMFA's exhibit, Frida: Beyond the Myth, Chef Danny Mena will host a 5 course guided dinner featuring some of Frida Kahlo's favorite recipes from her festive home dinners which she called día de los manteles largos (days of the long tablecloth).
Born and raised in Mexico City, Danny Mena is a partner at Conejo and the chef behind our menu. He has a wealth of knowledge about mezcal and Mexican cuisine and culture which he shares in his cookbook, MADE IN MEXICO.
The dinner sells out quickly so be sure to purchase tickets for your group together at one time. Seating is limited to 34. Communal tables will be set up on our heated, enclosed patio. Parking is available on the street and behind the building in the garage.
