About this Event
"Old World" and "New World" are general terms used to categorize wine regions based on their winemaking history and style, not necessarily the age of the wine itself. Old World wines, primarily from Europe, tend to emphasize tradition, terroir and subtle flavors. New World wines, produced outside of Europe, often prioritize fruit-forward flavors, modern techniques, and bolder styles. In essence, the Old World/New World distinction is a helpful framework for understanding the different approaches to winemaking and the resulting flavor profiles.
In this class we'll explore Old World and New World varieties of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir...don't miss it!
