On Saturday, October19, 'Taste the History of Chocolate' at Leffingwell House Museum from 11am-3pm. The Pewter Pot Fine Spiced Chocolate will take you on a journey of the history of Chocolate. Discover the origins of chocolate and how it made its way from the New World to Spain, then returned to Connecticut as a delectable treat produced by Christopher Leffingwell in Norwich. Taste an original recipe as well as Colonial Chocolate and a modern cocoa. Interact with Living History presenters from the Lebanon Militia, Wedges of Time and the Kingston Reds who will be on museum grounds, make a cornhusk doll with Jane. You can participate in a hunt for Business Scarecrows in the garden with prizes and experience chocolate history in the museum. Living History Presenters on the grounds, chocolate in the museum. $8
