Have you ever tried Filipino food? Although Filipino food is not mainstream, it doesn't make it any less. It is definitely getting more attention in the London food trend and not hard for us to understand why. Garlic, onions, soy sauce and vinegar make up the foundations of almost every dish. Every dish is a melting pot of textures, spices, flavours and fresh ingredients.

Filipino food can only be eaten one way, and that's family-style. Bowls of adobo and sour sinigang soup are savoured by a group. They treats food as kind of love language, designed to be shared.

What would you learn in this class?

In this class, Chef Mark will give you a good intro of the Filipino flavors, especially sourness. From his pantry to his recipes, he will teach you how to create dishes like Sinigang, Kinilaw, Ensaladang Mangga. You might find the recipes a new and healthy way to enjoy chicken, seafood and salad, we certainly love them!

Did I mention - to celebrate the launch, Mark might make one of his favorite cocktail called Ginger Papa with you? Woop woop!

Who is the chef?

You've got the right teacher! Chef mark is born and raised in Hong Kong to an English father and a Filipina mother. He set up a widely-acclaimed Filipino supper club and pop-up outfit called The Adobros, with the mission to introduce hungry Londoners to Filipino food. With years of experience running the supper club, Mark will show you his knowledge and secrets in this exciting cooking class.
