A seizure occurs when the brain's electrical activity becomes disrupted, and while the event may only last a few seconds, the risks can be life-threatening if the proper action isn't taken. Knowing what to do in the moment can mean the difference between safety and serious harm.
This is why the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia (EFGA) is committed to raising awareness and educating communities throughout the state.
