Taste Buds is an intimate, curated dinner series that brings The Next Fun Thing’s restaurant recommendations to life. It’s all about supporting local restaurants, discovering new places across the city, and meeting people who love trying new things just as much as you do.
Each dinner matches strangers with shared interests at one of our favorite local spots, turning solo plans into a night of discovery, delicious food, and great conversation.

It’s $10 to reserve your spot, which covers the curation and includes an appetizer for the table

All food and beverage orders during dinner are paid for individually.

While Taste Buds isn’t designed as a singles event, we know connections can happen anywhere. If someone at the experience, whether at your table or across the room, stands out to you, you’ll have access to view the guest list during the event only. You can discreetly add a heart next to their name, and if they do the same, you’ll both receive an email one hour after the event.
