Tassels and Assels with Katya!

Join Katya Peepin for a Sunday afternoon of tassel twirling!

After a warmup, we'll look at various techniques for twirling both tassels and assels, followed by a short choreography, and finally a cool-down.

Tassel pasties are optional for this workshop! You are welcome to come and learn the technique, and take it home to practice on your own.

If you plan to wear pasties, you will need to supply your own! Not sure how to choose a pair or how to put them on? Not to worry! This workshop comes with a PDF handbook that you will receive via email when you purchase your ticket. It explains the different types of tassel pasties, how to put them on, and more, so that you can come to the workshop prepared.

WHAT TO WEAR: Please come to class with your nipple pasties already on, covered by a bra and/or top. We will take a few minutes to adhere our assels during the workshop , at which time you'll need to be in something that allows your bum to stick out, like booty shorts or opaque panties. Before that you're welcome to wear some sort of athletic bottoms.

Stilettos and street shoes are not allowed on the dance studio floor! You're welcome to bring a pair of clean dance heels, character shoes, or jazz shoes, or to dance in your socks or bare feet.

WHAT TO BRING: Your own pasties, adhesive, and water bottle. You may also want to bring a notebook to take notes. We will not be recording this workshop.
