TASER Civilian User Course

This course covers usage of TASER Civilian Series devices. Students will learn important considerations for use of TASER devices along with other Conducted Electrical Weapons. The course requires a written examination and deployment of live TASER cartridges for successful completion.

Students arrive with the following equipment:

- Pants and a comfortable shirt

- Close-toed shoes or boots

- Note-taking equipment

- Food/Water/Snacks

Students will be provided:

• (2) TASER cartridges for use during practical application

Students are highly recommended to bring their lunch with them as scheduling only allows for a thirty-minute lunch break.

Payment due prior to start of class. We do accept cash, debit and credit cards.

AXON TASER DOES NOT PERMIT FOR VOLUNTARY EXPOSURES, NOR WILL THERE BE VOLUNTARY EXPOSURES TO TASER DEVICES OR OTHER CEW'S FOR COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE.

Along with the TASER Self-Defense material, this course will also include material covering the recommended use and application of chemical deterrents and restraint techniques specifically for licensed Private Security Officers. Officers wanting to participate in a voluntary exposure of OC spray will have the option to do so upon request.
