TASER 10 Makeup

This course will be a REQUIRED transition user course for ALL sworn and trained staff who are required to utilize a TASER during their duties. Command staff (Captains and above) who wish to maintain their TASER need to attend as well.

This course will assist students with the transition to the TASER 10 platform for 2024 rollout. All those who are issued and trained in TASER are required to attend a course.

Students will go through an in-class review of the material completed in the online courses. This will be followed by practical application including drills and scenarios in the mat room.

!!All attending will need to have completed the online course work prior to attending the in person training!!

Students will need to bring your X2 or Taser 7 (if currently issued to you). Bring all cartridges, holsters, and anything else related to your current Taser.

Students are required to bring duty belt or outer carrier where the TASER will be worn for practical drills and scenarios and clear eye protection.

Listed are the scheduled dates of courses being held in the Phoenix area. Northern and Southern Bureau instructors will be hosting courses to help cover anyone assigned in those districts.

Location: OTS Training room classroom located in southside of Training south of the gym.

If you have already transitioned to the new TASER 10 platform during the 2023 calendar year, you will only be required a 1-hour refresher that will be pushed out later this year. You will not have to attend another 8-hour user course in 2024.
