Right from the start some mums have an idea about how long they will breastfeed. This predicted time is often influenced by their own ideas and maybe social and family pressures. While some stick to their original plan, many go on to breastfeed for longer than planned. But eventually all babies wean. Today we'll look at why we might wean, how to go about weaning and the emotions we might feel after our baby weans.There will be plenty of time for connecting and chatting too.
We will meet from 9.45 am (we don't mind if you are late) at The Clubhouse Moorooka, 76 Koala Road, Moorooka. A coffee or drink of choice is included from the onsite cafe, Bean on the Green.
Friends, partners, support people and older children all welcome. A qualified breastfeeding counsellor will be available to speak with.
